Disney Water Parks

If you’re looking for a refreshing break from your exciting Theme Park schedule at the Walt Disney World Resort then visit Disney Water Parks. Your journey can start on the snowy slopes of Mt. Gushmore at Disney’s Blizzard Beach Water Park and lead on to the exhilarating storm-struck beaches of Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon Water Park. Disney tickets offer guests an experience which is ‘oceans of fun.

Blizzard Beach Water Park

There’s a Disney legend which claims that after a freak winter storm blanketed the area with snow, Florida's first ski resort was born. The powdery snow turned to slippery slush when temperatures returned to normal. The slalom courses, bobsled and toboggan runs became downhill waterslides and the chair lift carried swimmers instead of skiers. What happened to the ski jump? It became the tallest, fastest water slide in the USA. Now invite yourself to what has become Disney's Blizzard Beach, the most slushy, slippery, exhilarating water park anywhere!

Blizzard Beach Water Park is the largest of all the water parks available with a Disney ticket. If you like thrills and speed there are 22 water slides and “icy” bobsled runs that keep you comfortably warm but are thrillingly fast. Prepare yourself for a breathtaking plunge down Summit Plummet – the world’s tallest, fastest free-fall speed slide – at a dizzying 60 mph. Get ready for excitement and thrills on the Slush Gusher. Try the world’s longest family white-water raft ride – Teamboat Springs. Then there’s Toboggan Racer, an eight-lane water slide. Among the many other attractions are a huge bobbing wave pool, a float through a bone-chilling ice cave and the thrill of a ski-type slalom. Other amenities include special areas for pre-teens and young children and a one-acre wave pool. So come on in and enjoy Disney’s Blizzard Beach Water Park.
