Silver Springs
Silver Springs is a 350 acre theme park surrounding the stunning Silver River, upon which the world-famous Glass Bottom Boats offer passengers an unparalleled view of underwater life in the 99.8 percent pure waters of the springs. This unique attraction has long attracted the stars of TV and film and no fewer than 3 different James Bond movies have had scenes shot here! It really is a superb alternative from the bustle of Orlando?s theme parks, and is especially enjoyable for younger members in the party, who will love meeting the native inhabitants of Florida including Gators, Bears and Panthers.
Among the numerous rides and attractions, you will also come face-to-face with huge alligators (be sure to look out for Sobrek, thought to be the largest Crocodile in the care of man, at 16 feet long!), turtles, rare birds, and a superb collection of native snakes and spiders. There is a petting corner for the younger one?s as well as live music shows amidst the beautiful natural setting.

Silver Springs is Located on S.R. 40, east of I-75 in Ocala, 90 miles from Orlando and 63 miles from Daytona Beach. Wild Waters is open daily from 24 May until 1 September.
