PLEASE NOTE: For 2012 departures, the KSC: Today & Tomorrow tour is being replaced with the new Kennedy Space Center Up-Close Tour. For the first time in a generation, visitors will get the rare chance to tour the Vehicle Assembly Building and see first hand where monstrous vehicles were assembled for launch as well as where the future is unfolding for continued missions into space. Public access to the Vehicle Assembly Building is anticipated to stop in mid 2013.
And don't worry if you do not get to see and do everything in one day. Your ticket includes a FREE second day's entrance to Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex should you wish to come back again. The second visit to Kennedy Space Center must be taken within 7 days of your first visit. You can only do the Dine with an Astronaut programme and the Discover KSC: Today & Tomorrow Tour (KSC Close-Up Tour for 2012 departures) once.
Ticket Information:
- For operational reasons the SpacePass is issued as a voucher and should be exchanged at the voucher redemption window at Kennedy Space Center to obtain your SpacePass ticket.
- Kennedy Space Center is closed on shuttle launch days and Christmas Day.
- Transportation is NOT included to and from Kennedy Space Center. Please see the Kennedy Space Center with Transportation Ticket should you require transportation from Orlando.
- It is recommended that you book your Dine with an Astronaut and Discover KSC: Today and Tomorrow tour (KSC Close-Up Tour for 2012 departures) before you visit Kennedy Space Center as these elements can sell out at busier times of the year. You can either make a reservation once you are in Orlando by calling the number detailed on your voucher or American Attractions can do this for you before you leave the UK.
